Abusive Residents

I’ve always said that being an on-site property manager is often a tough and thankless job. A report from the National Apartment Association, who surveyed 1,000 multifamily professionals across the country, revealed that the number one challenge for these professionals is aggressive and abusive tenants. Mental health and the challenge of ‘turning work off’ after hours was number two. Maintaining proper staffing levels, managing the workload and working with residents facing eviction rounded out the top five. The conclusions from the report are interesting, particularly for those managing an onsite staff at a multifamily property.
